6:23 AM 6/13: Ok, so I got up to write, determined and focused. That lasted about a minute before I crawled back to the fold of the sheets. Snooze.

2:04 PM 7/02: had an awesome Mango workshop this week! The music is sick. SICK! And the script is getting there. But don’t worry, it will get there!

8:27 PM 7/07: had a pretty good reading of Mango Street. Good job everyone & thanks to all my friends who supported. It meant a lot to me to see u there.

6:20 PM 7/08: we’re back in business.

5:26 PM 7/16: Mango Street cast and production team announced.

5:59 AM 9/11: woke up troubled with directorial conundrums. Am I being TOO literal? Am I really suggesting we’ll have only one exit? And HOW do I split my writer brain with my director/developer brain while rehearsing both projects back to back, EVERYDAY? Tafil.

12:04 PM 10/7: run thru of Mango. All staff run. Eeek.

12:04 PM 10/9: First day of Mango Tech. Just saw the set for the first time!

12:23 PM 10/9: OMG! The cast in their costumes look like they’re right out of an episode del Chavo del Ocho! (jajaja)

4:11 PM 10/16: We’re here! Opening of Mango in about an hour. No turning back!

10:04 AM 10/17: –oh yeah, Dear Steppenwolf: I forgot to tell you we don’t abide by Germanic time. We’re on Latino Time. So you’ll have to hold the house.
