I'm glad to see The Glass Menagerie is your choice for the start of the Young Adult season. As far as I know the last time it was performed for the SYA program was when I played Laura to Tracy Letts' Tom back in the late '80s. We were directed by the wonderful Francis Guinan. It was a magical experience for all involved. I remember the kids in the audience were so noisy before the play began that I used to wonder if they'd ever settle down but once we got started you could hear a pin drop.
