The Sparrow at Steppenwolf

Hello Steppenwolfers!
David New has been kind enough to welcome me over to your blog for a moment to talk about some big stuff happening for The House Theatre of Chicago.
Our sold out run of The Sparrow will extend at The Steppenwolf Merle Reskin Garage Theatre from March 16th–April 21st under the Visiting Company Initiative. So first, on behalf of The House, I’d like to thank our mentors and friends at Steppenwolf for reaching in to hold us up during this crazy time and help us to make the most of The Sparrow’s success.
These are exciting times for The House. Alongside our remount of The Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz at Northlight March 2-11 this will officially make aught-7 our biggest year yet. We are stretching in incredible ways. We have two hit productions playing at two very prestigious venues. We are filling the houses every night with new friends. We are growing and learning and on our way to becoming the theatre we have dreamt of. O, the Romance of it all!
We can’t wait to meet you! So get your tickets, strap in and throw your hands in the air! Its going to be an incredible ride!

An amazing production by a heartfelt and extremely talented group of people. I’m so glad this show can have a second life in the Garage Theatre.
